Loung Sev is the most distinctive variety we make, and usually the one people are surprised to find they like as much as they do. Loung is clove — and that warm, aromatic depth is what you notice from the first bite. The heat is gentler than Ratlami, but the clove adds a character that makes it hard to stop eating. Made in small batches from our kitchen in Ujjain, from besan and traditional spices only. No maida, no artificial colours or preservatives.
It pairs best with things that leave room for the clove to come through. Try it over dal and rice, or alongside a simple kachori where the flavours can meet rather than compete. As a stand-alone snack it is a natural with masala chai — the clove in both tends to agree with each other. If you have mostly had the standard spicy sev, this is the one to try next.
