The Malwa Story?
Malwa is a region in Madhya Pradesh known for its food and the biggest flag bearer of our love for food is “Sev”, a snack which is a part of our every meal. From putting it between our sandwiches and on our poha to making sev tamatar ki sabzi or just eating sev as the sabzi, we live to eat sev and eat sev to live. The Malwa Story is an attempt to tell the world why we love our food so much and make the world fall in love with it too one meal at a time.

Akshansh Gupta
Hi! I am Akshansh Gupta, a marketer turned founder with 4 years of experience working for two of India's largest consumer tech startups. Before leaving home to join IIT and then IIM, I spent 14 years of my life in Ujjain - a small temple town in the malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.
The foodie in me was nurtured by the taste of my surroundings and I fell in love with what we call "SEV". Not sure if it's a snack or a side dish or a meal in itself but what I do know is that it is one of the most underrated food items I have ever tried.And that is what motivated me to start The Malwa Story - an attempt to make the world fall in love with Sev. My dream is to see our beloved Sev on every breakfast table, in every Friday night house party, next to everybody watching a movie or wherever there is a need for a spicy symphony of flavours packed in a quick bite.
